Reeana Tazreean is a Human Rights Advocate and Design Innovator. She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Health & Society from the University of Calgary and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Bioethics at Harvard University. Reeana has worked with UNICEF Canada in the Domestic Policy and Public Relations/Communications teams, and as a Health Innovation Architect in consulting.
At the University of Calgary, she served as a Senator and Medicine Faculty Representative. Her research focuses on advancing postoperative mobilization within an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) framework and examining health disparities. Her bioethical interest is in investigating the ethical implications of global healthcare innovation co-created with youth.
In her free time, Reeana enjoys creative writing, spin cycle classes, and acting.
