Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. is a global media company focused on the advancement of women in the workforce and aiding corporations in gaining access to influential and affluent professional women. We are the creators of the highly successful Women of Influence Luncheon Series, which operates in eight cities and in two languages. In addition, Women of Influence+ Inc. developed the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards, the Global Leaders Dinner Series across North America, and the Top 25 Women of Influence™ programme.

About Information You Volunteer

In various places on our Websites, we may request information from you. This might include your name, email address, other contact info, and demographic data such as your occupation. Periodically, we run contests and surveys for our clients. Participation in these are entirely voluntary, and you have a choice whether you disclose the requested information. We use contact information to notify winners. Other information we collect is aggregated and used by Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. and the sponsoring client to improve the client’s offerings.

Opting Out

When you subscribe to a Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. newsletter, we provide simple instructions, in each newsletter, on how you can cancel your subscription.

Each message deployed by Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. contains instructions on how you can opt out of future communications, either via email or through a Web page, or Manage Your Preferences to determine which electronic mailings you would like to receive. 

Purchasing Products

Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. uses WooCommerce and Stripe to process our online commerce transactions. We use Netscape’s Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to transmit sensitive data, such as your credit card information, to Surefire’s secure Transaction Server. Information sent from the Surefire server back to you is also sent via SSL. Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. uses 128-bit encryption, the highest level of protection possible for Internet communications.

Secure pages are indicated in your browser. All secure pages begin with https://.

Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. does not store your credit card information. Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. does store your contact information to expedite technical support if you request it, and to provide you with information about new products and upgrades.

Technical and Demographic Information

Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. collects technical and demographic information about you that does not personally identify you. Examples of this type of information include the computer operating system you use, your Internet browser, your domain name and IP address, and the Web pages you view. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

We use this information to diagnose problems with our Website and to better tailor its content to your needs.

Women of Influence Worldwide Inc. may also track clicks on Website links included in the messages.

Information regarding the activity of email recipients is reported to the client who deployed the message through Women of Influence Worldwide Inc., and may be used in case studies. Information about specific email recipients is only shared with the client who owns the list on which the recipient’s email address originally appeared.

We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and clients. This is not linked to personal information that can identify any individual person.
