My first job ever was… at a bakery

I chose my career path because… I’ve always been driven to create positive changes in the world of business. I’m passionate about technology and its ability to enhance all areas of business operations. Since I was a child, I’ve been determined to run a company and make an actual impact.

My proudest accomplishment is… the continued development of my company and the accomplishments of our dedicated employees in helping our customers enhance their cash handling operations.

My boldest move to date was… disrupting the cash handling industry to make it more cost-effective and efficient. Since the existence of cash, deposit tickets have been written on paper and logged with minimal digital backup, creating inefficient processes and costly errors. Our company has developed a digital deposit ticket and comprehensive cash handling systems that streamline the cash handling process and connect the entire supply chain through the use of simple technology and easily exchangeable data.

I surprise people when I tell them… how much I have accomplished on my own and how independent I am.

My best advice to people starting their career is… to understand who you are, work hard, be confident in yourself, set goals, take initiative, don’t give up, don’t depend on anyone, keep learning, treat people the way you want to be treated, and surround yourself with people you can learn from.

My best advice from a mentor was… to write everything down. Also, what’s common sense to you may not be so common to others.

I would tell my 20-year old self… take the risk and go after what you want. Don’t let anything or anyone hold you back.

“Take the risk and go after what you want. Don’t let anything or anyone hold you back.”

My biggest setback was… starting young in a male dominated market.

I overcame it by… staying strong, being fearless, believing in my abilities and maintaining my self-respect.

Work/life balance is… It’s been difficult to manage a work life balance since I am continuously driven to achieve more in my career. However, I do love to travel (which I do as often as possible), to cook at the end of the day when I get home, to be around friends and family, and to spend time decorating my house.

If you googled me, you still wouldn’t know… the love and dedication that I have for my work and family, along with how much I like to have fun!

I stay inspired by… my partners, my teams and my family. They inspire me to work harder and attain my goals. Inspiring others to succeed also motivates me as a leader.

The future excites me because… of what I have already accomplished and what has yet to come.

My next step is… to further expand on technology for banking and other related industries.
