Isabelle and Marie-Hélène offer the cloud based specialized software in addition to consulting and training services to help prevent, prepare, respond and recover to any type of consequences that could deeply affect a business of any size, such as loss of premises, loss of IT, loss of key personnel / abnormal absenteeism and supply chain disruptions.

What does winning this award mean to you?

“The Micro-Business award will remain a milestone in the history of our firm and has inspired all of us at Premier Continuum. It has definitely put the spotlight on our offer of Business Continuity Services and web solutions. For this and much more, we are very grateful and proud to have been among the winners in the 2016 RBC Women of Influence contest.”

What do you wish you knew at the beginning?

“We wish we had known that even as experts in risk management and business continuity, we had to learn how to take risks in business. While being conservative has provided stability and longevity, we should have taken more risks in the business, in particular in order to bring our software faster to the market.”

What did you learn in your first year of business?

 “We learned that, while delivering quality products and services, we did not always need to be perfect and in some areas “good is good enough”, thus focusing our efforts where there was value creation. We learned the importance of creating a team of talented people who share our values of excellence, of trust and of honesty. We learned how important it is to know our business inside-out and the value of marketing ourselves and our business. Most importantly we learned to believe in ourselves and in our contribution to society.”
