Meet Dr. Wendy Wolfman, Top 25 Women of Influence+ Award Recipient

Dr. Wendy Wolfman is the Director of the Menopause Clinic and the Premature Ovarian Insufficiency Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is also a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto, as well as treasurer, board member, and co-chair of the Education Committee of the International Menopause Society. Dr. Wolfman previously served as the President of the Canadian Menopause Society (CMS) and was the first recipient of the Carol Mitchell Chair in Menopause at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Wolfman initiated one of the first fellowship programs in Mature Women’s Health and continues to lead an annual CME course in the field, with many of her graduates going on to hold prominent positions both nationally and internationally. Through her publications, national and international presentations, and contributions to guidelines, she has made significant advancements in gynecologic knowledge. Dr. Wolfman is currently collaborating with Mount Sinai Hospital on a $50 million development campaign to establish an innovative Mature Women’s Health Centre. She is a proud wife, mother and grandmother.
