Recognized as an exclusive forum for notable change makers, the Global Leaders Dinner Series is where powerful minds connect to leverage their influence and grow their businesses through shared thought leadership and authentic conversation — the impact of which will extend far beyond the evening.
The 2019 Women of Influence Global Leaders Dinner Series will kick-off its Canadian tour in Toronto on April 16 before traveling internationally. To request a personal invitation or nominate a guest who you believe would make a valuable contribution to the room, please contact Alicia Skalin, Co-CEO, Head of Events & Programming at [email protected]
Formerly known as the Global Senior Executive Dinner Series, the program was designed eight years ago to recognize and elevate diversity champions at the Board, CEO, and Senior Executive level who have made significant contributions to the advancement of women in both public and private sectors. Around these tables, from Toronto to Washington to Hong Kong, corporate leaders discussed the pitfalls to women’s executive advancement and the progress we wanted to see.
As we move into a new era of radical change, the community and conversation has evolved.
By invitation only, the Global Leaders Dinner Series now brings together 75 corporate leaders and top entrepreneurs who are invested in growing their impact and driving a change initiative forward. Select invitees include Board Members striving for equal gender representation; C-Suite and SVP leaders championing diversity and inclusion initiatives and parity; and top entrepreneurs who are expanding their businesses at a phenomenal rate and using their influence to mentor the next generation of female leaders.
Authentic and deep dinner conversation is focused on revealing the innovative ways this diverse cross-section of female leaders are creating change in real-time — and how we can leverage each other’s strengths to get there faster.
Beyond sharing inspiration, these carefully curated evenings are designed to create powerful connections between corporate champions and progressive female entrepreneurs – the intersection of which is critical to boosting the impact of women globally. In 2017 this was clearly evidenced by the introduction of the Canada-United States Council for Advancement of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders, which includes past dinner attendees Elyse Allan, CEO, GE Canada; Dawn Farrell, President & CEO, TransAlta Corporation; Deborah Gillis, Former President & CEO, Catalyst; Annette Verschuren, Chair & CEO, NRStor Inc.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.
Our unique differentiator – and the magic of the series – is that the women in the room are driven by a desire to have an impact on women’s advancement globally and committed to driving a change initiative forward. Meet some of the extraordinary dinner guests we’ve hosted over the last few years and learn more about the compelling work they are doing.
