Helping Girls Grow into Leaders

Every year Women of Influence raises money to help girls grow into leaders. For the last 5 years we have done this by auctioning off Job Shadow days with our renowned, high-powered, women of influence from Bonnie Brooks, to Heather Reisman and many more across Canada, women bid on spending a day with their role models, and all the funds go to helping future women of influence.

Why Girls?

Developing leadership potential in young girls between the ages of 15-23 is critical, which is why we have named G(irls)20 as our Charity of Choice.

G(irls)20 is about galvanizing the world’s greatest resource— girls and women—and cultivating a new generation of leaders through entrepreneurship and education. It mobilizes girls and young women for impact locally, nationally and internationally. Designed according to G20 Architecture, G(irls)20 brings together one delegate from each G20 country, plus a representative from the European & African Unions, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the MENA region, to debate and design solutions that will economically advance girls and women around the world. G(irls)20 is a non partisan, registered charity in Canada.

Women of Influence recognizes that developing leadership potential in young girls between the ages of 15-23 is critical, which is why we have named G(irls)20 as our Charity of Choice.
