Coaching Talented Women Program - Workshop

Program Details: Coaching Talented Women is designed to provide leaders with the coaching tools needed to support the most talented women within your organization in advancing their careers. Successfully utilized by the Women of Influence Advancement Centre for over 6 years, this program is now being offered to the public. The coaching tools that will be learned and developed in this program are proven to help women advance in their careers. These coaching tools have been our “secret sauce” and we are ready to share our recipe with any leader who wants to grow skills to better support the high potential women on their team or in their organization.

Who should attend: All leaders, men and women, who are committed to supporting the advancement of women in their organization (typically includes supervisors, managers, directors, senior directors, VP level, D&I Champions, HR leaders)

Program Content Based on Research: In designing this program, we leverage research to help us understand what highly successful women and organizations do well and then derive the biggest opportunity for change by referencing The 7 Pitfalls for Women in Business and Gallup report research.

Program Objectives

  • Support leaders who desire to coach, mentor, sponsor or simply act as allies for the professional advancement of women as they help others gain critical skills to advance their careers
  • Help leaders start specific focused conversations with high potential women that are often missed in traditional performance reviews and career conversations

    Christine Laperriere is the Executive Director of the Women of Influence Advancement Centre, president of Leader In Motion, a leadership development organization, and the author of Too Busy to Be Happy — a guide to using Emotional Real Estate to improve both your work and your life. A seasoned expert in helping women professionals advance their careers, she’s had the honour of guiding hundreds of women in various companies and roles to reach their full potential. Her background includes an undergraduate and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering, certifications in psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and executive coaching, along with years in design engineering and management consulting.
