Professional women anticipate their post-career lives with varied feelings. For some it means leaving behind an identity that has been core to their sense of worth. They feel unfocused, fearful and don’t know what to do. For others this transition is welcomed as a time of abundant possibility, a time not to retire, but “re-wire” and thrive in their post-professional “Primetime.”

LEANING OUT helps female leaders on the cusp of a significant career transition learn how to stand on the shoulders of their professional selves to envision and purposefully plan their next phase.

The LEANING OUT program will help you not only understand the feelings of ambivalence you may have about leaving your traditional career behind but also will help you define and purposefully embrace your next phase. The full-day Primetime Seminar guides you through an assessment of your experiences, skills, interests, knowledge and closest held values to develop your own post-career plan. The Breakfast Workshops enable you to engage with subject matter experts on potential post-career paths such as board directorships, entrepreneurship or giving back in a not-for-profit role. You will receive clear action steps and accountability to guide you from your current professional role to your personal “Primetime.”

In addition to the small-group courses, participants will work individually with Marge Watters, a career coach with over 25 years’ experience counselling senior professional women through this challenging phase of assessment and re-direction. Marge has navigated her own career transitions and accompanied hundreds through theirs.
