Says gender expert Barbara Annis, “Organizations the world over want to improve in their Gender Intelligence, attract the most talented women and men, sustain their growth and competitiveness in the global marketplace, and be recognized for their efforts. The greatest outcome of our partnership with the Lean In Foundation is in helping women and men grow in their understanding, appreciation, and valuing of each other’s unique and authentic talents and skills.
“We are proud to partner with Sheryl Sandberg and Leanin.Org to provide leaders in business, government, and academia the guidance and development they will need to give women and men the tools to realize and support each other’s goals and aspirations. Our goal is to help women and men grow in their Gender Intelligence.”
Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO, author of Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, co-founder of Leanin.Org, adds: “For years, women have represented an important part of the workforce, earning 57 percent of undergraduate and 63 percent of masters degrees in the United States today. For over 30 years, women have represented half of middle management in a number of industries, yet many organizations struggle to attract and retain high-potential women, especially in the most senior roles. We are excited to partner with Barbara Annis, a pioneer in the gender equality movement. She and her associates share our passion for reversing this trend and changing the trajectory of women in the workplace.”
