Rising to the Occasion – How to Lead and Succeed

Dr. Samantha Nutt. Founder, War Child

Good leaders demonstrate strength, courage, and conviction. They encourage us to think, to inspire, and to demand more of ourselves and of our society. But the question is: are they born with these elusive qualities, alongside a perfect balance of knowledge and charisma, or have they simply learned to communicate their experience and ideas more effectively than the rest of us? Is leadership naturally ingrained in certain people, or can it be acquired?

Can we all be leaders?

Join us on June 14 as we welcome the founder of War Child, global humanitarian, and best-selling author Dr. Samantha Nutt to the Women of Influence Evening Series podium to talk about what makes an effective leader stand above the rest — and how we can all become one.

In her signature inspiring and informative style, Dr. Nutt will:

  • Look at the meaning and significance of leadership
  • Map out ways in which we can all be more effective leaders — in the world and in the workplace
  • Help us discover our own capacity to lead and advance
As a medical doctor, global humanitarian, and expert authority on current affairs, and foreign policy, Dr. Nutt is an exceptional leader who will inspire you to rise to the occasion.
