Deloitte Women of Influence Luncheon Series Presents Margaret Atwood
Canadian Icon, Literary Giant and Entrepreneur
TORONTO – September 12th, 2012 – Women of Influence will be taking over the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on September 17th, to present Margaret Atwood, literary giant and entrepreneur. This luncheon will begin at 11:15am with a networking reception, and conclude at 2:00pm following Atwood’s inspiring speech.
Margaret Atwood is one of the world’s most prolific and influential women. In her own words: her career as a writer began when a poem was pressed out of the sky onto her head, like a thumbprint, while she was walking home from her Leaside high school. Now, Atwood has written over 80 works, spanning almost 50 years, and she’s not done yet. Hear how she authored her own success story, that of a literary giant and new entrepreneur.
